Bandera del Orgullo Lésbico visibiliza lo femenino y feminista
El símbolo fue electo durante un concurso que se llevó a cabo en 2011, en el que participaron centenares de lesbianas
La bandera que representa a todos los colectivos que integran la comunidad de Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales, Transexuales e Intersexuales (LGBT) llegó por primera vez en 1978 para demostrar la unión y la complementación de una sociedad sin discriminación.
Pero cada uno de los grupos tiene su propio estandarte identificativo, en el caso de las lesbianas, están representadas por la Bandera del Orgullo Lésbico, la cual fue diseñada por Mercedes Díaz Rodríguez.

El símbolo fue electo durante un concurso que se llevó a cabo en 2011, en el que participaron centenares de lesbianas, pero la votación del jurado se inclinó por el diseño de la española.
En el estandarte figuran dos símbolos de Venus, que representan los femenino, un triángulo negro invertido, para conmemorar a las víctimas de los campos de concentración durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y de fondo un color violeta que representa el movimiento feminista.
